hahaha yea we were keeping up with the game on our phones. He played basketball in high school. He use to be the ball boy at the games when he was younger but now he is the manager.

I'm sure he liked what he saw tonight. Pearl is a "players" coach. He is not gonna jerk someone out for a bad play, he lets the players play and these young kids have to love it. Coach Pearl, this Buds for you! Doin what they said couln't be done, just like the bandit baby. O hell yeah

The kid has been tight lipped about the whole thing, why put your self in the spot light like that? Maybe he wanted to tell pearl in person he wasnt coming, the family has money so thats not an issue. Something doesnt smell right on this one.

Question is would the feeling be mutual after the way he hung the staff out to dry? I'm not so sure he would be welcomed at this point.

Don't forget Golden and then 2011 there's Kevin Ware who may be as high as Selby by the time he is a senior. Selby needs to go somewhere else. I would hope Pearl isn't crazy enough to cough up a scholly for Josh if he changes his mind again. It would be a crappy thing to do to Golden and Ware.

Maybe but if he went to a Cuse game (or any other team), I'd probably be a bit worried of my chances. You have to admit it looks good for UT right now.

especially since Ware can't sign anything and us having the jump on him this early. Looks real good for our crappy adidas b-ball program that people love to hate on. :)

Why would he drive up there, stay for the game, and talk to the coaches afterward just to tell them he's not coming? That makes no sense at all.

EXCELLENT POINT. I was thinking this could be the case as well considering what a class act this kid is. While this could certainly be a possibility, let's think positive and keep our fingers crossed that he wants to be the future face of UT BASKETBALL :)

Personally I'm not nearly as impressed with Selby's character as I am his ability on the court. I would take Tobias Harris and others like him over 10 Selby's.
