Just tuned into the game, what the hell happened in the 2nd ?
Our pitching concerns me.

On a side note, since I cannot seem to access the telecast on my ESPN+, even though my bill is current, I am listening to Wilkerson's radio broadcast.
Look, I know a lot of people love John and he is a huge advocate for the baseball program, plus seems to know the game and his delivery is smooth.
But does he have to yell into the mic the entire game, even for routine plays ? I can't listen for long and get a headache.
I'm sure I'm in the minority here and I'll catch hell for criticizing the guy, but does he grate on anyone else ?

You the man! I remember playing ball and losing more than a few games one season and even getting hammered a few of those games, but guess who was standing as champions at the end of that season? Adjusted, went back to work, earned it.

That's great and no joke: Didn't that or doesn't that elevate you interest as a fan, in any sport you watch?

How could it not?

I think baseball is particularly difficult because there is so much time between opportunities at the plate and when fielding.

For me personally, I like tennis a LOT because I'm always involved ... there is no down time ... etc. So adjusting and seeing the result of the adjustment is instantaneous.

Do you golf? Mess up a drive and you're a full 15 min away from using your driver again. MORE if the next hole is a par 3.

ANYWAY, thank you for the post and I'm sure other posters are thankful just to know that people work at a sport and there's more success than failure at times; and with baseball, all but Condon, fail wayyyy more at the plate than they do succeed. Just look at a batting average.

There's top notch hoops on and I'd STILL rather focus on this game instead of NCAAT hoops. THIS level of baseball is rare. This series is rare.
