I like Frank however I have seen more than once calling the same pitch with an 0-2 count and losing a guy or them going deep. Happened with Doe, Burns and Beam. Kirby just had an 0-2 last inning same thing. Wasting pitches or leaving a ball hanging. Would like to see more creativity there.

Been doing it the last couple of games especially. Frank needs to drink some Red Bull before the games and wake up

This. Peebles has been a disappointment so far. He could certainly turn it around, but feels unlikely with competition ramping up. Stark is the better defensive catcher. Hard to justify playing the worse defensive option if the offense isn’t there to balance it out.

He’s not provided the power we expected or average but .254 is infinitely better than Stark’s .180 and he strikes out at nearly 1/2 the rate as Stark. The K’s are what kill Stark, he has way too many unproductive outs.
