Thought I heard them mention that Kirby had been conditioning to go longer stretches. Really needed him the last 2 weekends and probably the rest of the season. Great Job Kirby.I questioned his strategy two yrs ago just letting people steal bases at will & got murdered. Don’t question Frank Anderson.
Huge tip of the hat to Kirby Connell tonight. To throw 90+ pitches when your arm isn’t conditioned for that is amazing. Great job.
Indeed. Player of the game IMO. They've got to find some other arms though. Can't stress guys like Kirby too much. He gets injured or "sore" and we're up the proverbial creek. Not sure what's holding guys like Dallas, Phillips and Combs back, but if anybody can figure it out and push the right buttons it's Anderson and Vitello. These youngsters just need to snap and clear and get their heads right. They've got the tools physically. Get it together already.I questioned his strategy two yrs ago just letting people steal bases at will & got murdered. Don’t question Frank Anderson.

Know he saved us yesterday, but knowing he's not available today really makes me feel anxious. Kid is a security blanket. Probably going to be pitching "by committee" for both teams today. Not sure what UGA has left, but while we have some arms, I've got no idea what to expect from them. Wonder if we'll shake up the batting order today? Specifically lead off. I'd have to guess Moore stays at the top of the order?Kirby Connell is moving up my list of all-time favorite Vols in any sport. And it's a long list - I'm pretty old. The guy is the ultimate winner.
I would DH Bargo over Villeneuve.Know he saved us yesterday, but knowing he's not available today really makes me feel anxious. Kid is a security blanket. Reading yesterday’s thread after attending Friday and Saturday games. I’m 73 and haven’t mellowed yet and don’t see it in my future. One guy posted that he was worried we would not make postseason…you just have to keep it moving…sometimes I can let stuff roll and other times I can’t…maybe by time I’m 60 I will fully mellow out…highly doubtful though….hahahha
Cannot figure out devotion to Anderson. What recent indication warrants so much faith. The conference is being dominated by bats (ex Arky and V andy) so may be time. Need to get Bream back to a reliable base and then focus on othersIndeed. Player of the game IMO. They've got to find some other arms though. Can't stress guys like Kirby too much.
