The Official UT-UF Game Thread

Hey this is just one loss. There's alot of football left. They gonna have to suck it up and learn from it. It's far from over for them. BUT they got to find a running game if they think they can win in the SEC

Ainge made some mistakes that were very costly tonight. We should have gotten a field goal out of that last possession. But, it's just a game and only God is perfect.

And they didn't blow us out. I'm sure the Gators and their fans are breathing a sigh of relief.

The way it has been going, I don't think we can beat LSU, and Georgia's defense is looking increasingly scary.

That's ok guys, I can handle losing a game like that....We can and will bounce back after losing tonight, we all know what the outcome should have been......but it wasn't, that team WILL NOT make it to the SEC Championship

They need to be able to stop the run if they want to win in the SEC. They knew Tebow was going to run, but they couldn't stop him. DeShawn Wynn is a terrible RB, but he tore us a new one.

Florida played pretty poorly in my mind. I hate to think about what its going to be like when we play uga and lsu, because we should have lost that game by about 2 td's.

On the upside if UT can overcome the freshamn QB at GA the Vols might get runner up in the East. Maybe the team will get a nice 2nd place ribbon for the trophy case.

Exactly what the hell was Ainge supposed to do when the middle linebacker was on top of him right after the snap? He got called for intentional grounding. His other option was to take the sack. You know what the difference is between being sacked and being called for intentional grounding? Absolutely nothing! That screwup was on the offensive line!

Were it not for Ainge, we wouldn't have even been in this game.

Tough game guys. I feel the same way many of you do. I had to witness a Tiger loss today that was against 11 football players and 4 refs. I hate to blame games on the refs but we did have a few big time no calls in the game. Ya'll looked good. Keep your head up and lets hope we meet in Knoxville with only one loss.

some reason the bama fans have gave me the most lip, about this lost well ofcourse I am in alabama and these guys are too stupid to know they havent played a tough team all year. Im proud of my vols we have gave every team we played hell.

That's the understatement of the year. Our defense is as soft as a marshmallow.

We had NO business being that close in that game. Ainge and our wide receivers played well. The rest of the team looked like crap.
Pretty much.

Defense played well enough to win... for 3 quarters.

Offense played well enough despite NEGATIVE rushing yards... for 3 quarters.

Ainge made some mistakes (intentional grounding), D did a fair job but not good enough, our running game just plain sucks. Should have been a "W" for the Vols.

I knew that when the interception for a touchdown got called back it would be the difference. Great game both teams played well. Can't believe Tebow ran it EVEY Time on us.

I don't blame Ainge, or Cutcliffe. Baiscally our Offensive line got completely owned all night long. When you can't run the ball to save your life, it's not fair to blame the QB. Give credit to Florida's front 7 on defense, they played well.

The coaches lost that game and anyone who blames the players is not a "real" VOl fanIMO. BTW channel 5 news in Nashville just interviewed a guy in a Gator hat at a local sports bar and a bunch of Vandy fans were huddled around cheering him on.
