One of my colleagues once made the mistake of telling me that, while Florida State was struggling, at least they still had BC coming up on the schedule for a sure win. Played right into my hands.

If they're anything like that I better stay far, far away.

That was one of the most cathartic, karmic, perfectly timed sports plays I've ever seen one of my teams execute. I just about jumped out of LNS.

Which sweep surprised you more, Nashville last year or this weekend?

Hard call. The one last year was in their ballpark, which is never an easy thing to do in the SEC. The one this year came after Arkansas and Tennessee Tech.

Over all, I think it was this year considering how the season had gone up to that point. What about you?

I think that's what I enjoyed the most. The people going the craziest were the ones that I've seen sitting through the cold, the wind, and the rain we've had so far this year.

Understandable about Evans with the pain but Joyce is an interesting one. He's a Senior, draft eligible, but even before the scar tissue event (which also happened to Frank Andersons son), Tony wasn't pitching Joyce much. His numbers are good and he was the only pitcher to shut down Missouri in that debacle of a weekend. There's a few pitchers Tony leaves in too long (Halverson with the 2 dingers the other day) and others that have a short leash.
