What's the deal with the new Diamonds and Lace advertisements all over the radio ?

didn't even know the place was still in business and i don't have a radio antenna, so i am out of the loop on that one.

what is funny is that as i have made fun of the cannonball yesterday, today in the paper they had a story on how it is one of the best roller coasters in the world. a group of international roller coaster enthusiasts came to lake winnie to ride the cannonball and loved it. don't get me wrong it is a descent roller coaster for a place like lake winnie, but putting it up on an international scale is hard to believe.

I saw that, too. They had a video of it on either, wrcbtv.com, timesfreepress.com, or newschannel9.com. I can't remember, but it was weird that it was on that list.

The best local commercial is the ambulance chaser who details to potential clients what to do if they're involved in an automobile accident: first go to the doctor, then give him a call. He repeats it a few times, just to be clear.

hello chattanoogans. the weather sure has been amazing this last few days. i had a fun time the other day. i went out in my sea kayak and paddled around mcllelan island on the river and then pulled up at my buddies place in north chatt to grill a few steaks. right after i pull up and put the truck in park some arse hole completely flies down the hill and runs from one end of my truck down the back and destroys the side mirror and scratched the heck out of it. the dandy of it all was i was in the truck and got out ready to beat on some guy and he completely does a hit and run. the neighbor comes out wondering what in the world was going on and she tells me that the guy lives right up the street. i find out it was a company truck he was driving and i suspect he had a few cocktails as he smelled strong from about ten feet away. explains the hit and run actions. his company truck is all kinds of messed up and he will certainly have some explaining to do at work.

low and behold i have plenty of ammunition to make his life a living hell if he does not come through and take care of my damages. i guess i had a soft spot and gave the guy a get out of jail free card figuring he had enough problems coming to him. if he was not straight forward with me or came at me aggressively matters would have turned out much more different. i am not a little man. my damages were not sever enough to bring in insurance since it is a truck that may not be drivable for much longer anyways. anyways a great day, great weather, cool, breazy. how has life been for you all?

I have no problem with that. my only rules are "no dawgs allowed" and if you drink have a dd or I hide your keys in a place so brilliant I will only remember them hungover haha

i will probably be free for games up to bama weekend. i then rev up to 72 hours a week and will more than likely be stuck working 7pm to 7am with sundays being my only days off and i use those for sleep. we should maybe come up with some sort of gathering maybe at a central locale for most folks. that is if i am invited...... certainly don't want to be that guy....:)

naww, all vols are invited. i mean i live in flintstone which is pretty central to most anywhere actually, im like 10 mins from downtown

Bummer man. Good luck to you on that one.

The part in bold made me laugh.

God knows we need the rain, but the water that amounted on Dayton Blvd today was crazy, after only a few minutes of pouring.

appreciate it man. how you been lately? find some more work?

I can't complain at all. Two of my friends were laid off recently, both in financial consulting, and they can't find anything comparable, so I actually feel blessed to have a "real" job. Especially when I notice the unemployment stats here, granted they live in Charlotte and Nashville.

I know. It's rained so much the last few days my car smelled like I left a window down yesterday. I guess just the water from getting in and out of it.
