The Official Washington Nationals Thread

He did it in 2012. Weird

Yeah, it was part of his Cy Young season. I pretty vividly remember it. Looked it up and Dave Stieb had the same outcome in 1988. Maybe it means back-to-back games where both were one hit or fewer but at least one was a no-no?

I checked the game logs of the others on the list and all of them had a no-no for at least one of the two (Vander Meer had back-to-back no-nos)

Bryce Harper's 38th home run gives him the 5th-most by any player at age 22 or younger in the expansion era (since 1961). The only players with more are Johnny Bench, Juan Gonzalez, Alex Rodriguez and Boog Powell.

Just re watched that dugout scuffle for the giggles. As soon as it happens, Matt Williams walks across the dugout just thinking 'welp, I'm fired.'

Yeah Zimmerman not what he once was makes that a pretty easy decision.

Which I why I don't understand Dusty not moving the lineup around. Put Murphy behind Harper and see how many IBBs Harper gets. Baker has always been a terrible in-game manager, and this is why.

Yeah, he's a stubborn guy, even with substitutes and batting order. May want to avoid back to back left handed batters, and, to be fair, this wasn't expected from Murphy.

Reports that Strasburg signed a 7 year 175 million dollar extension. 1 million dollar bonus for each year he throws over 180 IP.
