At least with proximity to downtown Atlanta, there has to be plenty of cool things to do on the weekend?

Definitely and part of our student fees go to a lot of things downtown and beyond we'd otherwise have to pay for. ie, the Georgia Aquarium is one of the nicest aquariums on the planet and we can go any time for free. Tix for all our sports are also included because GT actively wants us to strike a balance between school and normal life, but also because there are so many international students, there's a course we have to take that includes trips attractions around Georgia and even a down hill skiing day in NC, so that international students get an idea of what the USA east coast has to offer.
