The Official Zone Severe Weather Thread

For generations past in certain regional dialects, a glottal stop substituted for the “T” in pronunciation of some words.

Presently, I do not hear the glottal stop, just the absence of the “T” sound, e.g. “impor’ent” for important.

🤔
I figured it all came down to somethin like a "glottal stop."

I bet @508mikey can verify.

You can piss off! Leaving us all of us worried, not checking in. WTF?

You’re still our buddy and hope you’re okay. I don’t know and don’t know your business (don’t want to unless you want us to know). Believe it or not, I respect boundaries unlike some here 😒.

It’s great to see you, did you see your shadow or something? Or are we in for 6 weeks more of winter?

On the CLT reddit page they are like you can call spectrum for a discount on your bill for an outage, as it's not automatic. Yeah, I'm not wasting a 30 minute waiting in line call for $5.

How are the roads? I'm seeing quite a few surrounding counties now saying come visit!
Adding to what I posted above: son-in-law came today back from a short run to Indiana. 441 is open IN THE DAYTIME over the mountains; no commercial trucks allowed at any time. I don’t know what hours they’re using to define daytime.
