Is when he goes out to his car after it's been sitting in the sun all day. In fact, if he gets us to a bowl this year and his recruiting stays in the top ten, his name will start popping up on other teams wish list. The coaching game will play out: he will be rumored to take this job and that job opening, the AD will get nervous, a contract extension will be offered, etc. So I see a long term contract in Butch's future with more pay. I for one am all for it. Go VOLS!

The fact that this even has to be posted after a loss to a really good Georgia team on the road just shows how stupid our fan base can be. If the words "hot seat" and "butch" were uttered from your mouth in the same sentence, then you need to go to mirror and call yourself a moron.

Ikr. I was in shock when I started reading some of the posts after the effort our boys played with yesterday. I almost felt like their were trolls on here trying to stir things up in volnation. Probably over half the teams in college football would love to have Butch. I imagine several are gonna try the next couple of years.

If we were willing to pay big bucks Butch wouldn't be our head coach. We don't have the dough to get in a bidding war with Michi.

I'm having trouble seeing georgia as a "really good" team. They loss to a sc team who now already has two losses.

I'm not for a big raise until we see wins. But until then there is absolutely no reason for butch jones to be on any hot seat within the next 2 to 3 years.

It's Butch Jones. He has worked non stop to fill the roster left by the human excrement of Kiffin and Dooley. Pay the man and his staff and continue the process.

Have our fans learned nothing about not having coaching consistency.

Don't pay until he wins.

You think it's dumb to say he's on the hotseat, well it's just as dumb to over pay a coach that isn't winning.

Which is just ignorant. Charlie Strong was offered $4 mil per year but elected to stay at Louisville (for another year). Butch Jones is being paid market value for a coach who was up and coming but still unproven at this level. Your posts are all negative all the time and left unsupported by facts.

Fulmer did good when there wasn't that much competition around him, but look what happened once other SEC schools stepped up.

Unless it include "not on" somewhere in front of "hot seat". I'm disappointed with the loss yesterday like a lot of people are, but I'm upset because we played a hell of a game and were a single non fumble in the endzone from winning.

We've had mistakes not go our way the past couple weeks, and that will happen when your players are inexperienced. Butch has put these players in a position to win, and if anything should be commended for how much better we are this year than people thought we would be, and how much better we are than last year.

The change in play and confidence of Worley from last year to this year is incredible. Multiple fans of other teams on another forum I go to said they wished they had Worley.
