The Pearl lie: From beginning to end

Yes, tweaking the He-Man Bruce Pearl Haters Club and laughing at their obsession and the hypocrisy of the NCAA is quite amusing. I think it's pretty clear who has gotten worked up here.

All members, unite!!!

Impressive tweaking, since it was so clear that you were in complete control and calm, cool and collected in the midst of your puppeteering.

After reading this thread i know Orangeballs has that as his name. It appears that he was so stuck on Pearl's balls that when he painted his chest, and got sweaty, it just rain down Pearl's slimy body and got all over "Orangballs" while he was down there.

Wow. Really?

I've always been in complete control. Obviously, some of your little internet friends seem to have trouble with that. However, it is funny to see the same usual suspects on every single thread about Pearl (or hell, anything else since they all end up at the same place) that all chime in like some internet clique. It's like an internet circle jerk between you people. Pathetic, but par for the course every single time.

Sorry, I laugh at kids that think they can remember the O'Neill years like yesterday when they were barely past being potty trained.

When this is what you're down to having to argue, you should maybe just consider not posting anything.

No, it's a point of clarification. You are a child that acts like he knows so much history on UT basketball when all you know is O'Neill and forward. Laughable.

And just like clockwork, I post and you show up as my shadow.

The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round...

I must have missed when I claimed to be a Tennessee Basketball historian although I'm quite confident that I might possibly be able to match your vast knowledge of our history.

Second, don't flatter yourself. When you direct a post at me, I'll respond. When you don't direct a post at me, I'll simply sit back and watch you continuously make a complete ass out of yourself.

Maybe you need to go back and read some of your posts then, Jr. They're rife with arrogance and know-it-all assumptions. Still, I had a good laugh at you remembering the O'Neill years when you were all of 6. That's some good stuff right there.

It's not flattery when it's factual. I post and you show up. Like clockwork. Then your badass internet buddies show up and you all huddle up, slap each other on the back and congratulate each other (HEY! GOOD POST BUDDY!!) and act like you run the board. It's comical, yet pathetic, to say the least.

I think it's quite obvious who has made an ass out of themselves over a longer period of time on here. Ask some other board members that have had a different opinion of the He-Man Bruce Pearl Haters Club. The post counts of some of your little buddies is astounding. Have a life much? Apparently not. Yet, it's the exact same childish sh*t every single day. Comical to say the least. But hey, you are all badass internet buddies so you have that going for you.

Comical to say the least.
I've had my quarrels with Law, but there's only one on this thread being comical, and it's not him.

Bruce had great success here, but he also greatly f***ed up. Few people want to see a winning coach go, but if you STILL don't understand why it had to be done, I feel your opinion loses a lot of credibility on the subject.

I'm not going to tell you to stop arguing, but it would probably be in your best interest.

And yet again, that's where you and anyone else not paying attention are wrong. Please point to one post where I have stated that Pearl didn't have to go. Can you find it? You can't because it doesn't exist.

I merely stated that the lies Pearl told were not in the same realm as what has happened at Ohio St and other universities where pimping players and large sums of cash have exchanged hands to keep players eligible. What competitive advantage did Pearl obtain out of it like a Tressel? Not even in the same galaxy.

It's comical to watch people think what Pearl did was any different than any other coach. They all tell half truths to recruits and lie their asses off all the time. Pearl's problem was he did it to the wrong person (institution). Hell, live in the real world much? People are cheating, lying and stealing all the time and the coaches are no different. It's an every day occurence.

I don't understand why you've been arguing about it for 8 pages.

Pearl is 126-46 in five seasons at Tennessee and has led the Vols to five straight NCAA tournaments. Facts speak louder. Pearl's first big mistake was bringing them to his house especially after UT had beaten OSU and Craft from Findlay, Ohio. Second mistake was to hire what appears to be an attorney you have to wonder how he ever passed the bar, and obviously uniformed attorney out of his area of practice. Just like this site, some people on here that claim to be attorneys but sure don't come across that way. Third, lie to the NCAA. Did the attorney do anything but wear a suit cash his check on Friday?

It's obvious from his posts that he really doesn't like Pearl. The 8 pages of defending him and deflecting blame prove conclusively that he hates the man.

And it's obvious that you and your little buddies aren't obsessed with him.

Why did Pearl call Aaron Craft's father?

To find out how to make quiche.

Hope he got a good recipe, considering.

So, do you think of Pearl as an honest man who told one little lie and then got singled out by the big, bad NCAA? I'm just trying to see what exactly you're arguing about.
