1. Tennessee is now officially the Denver Nuggets of college basketball. They are a bunch of headcases and halfassers who only show up ready to play when it fits their personal agendas.
2. The final possession looked like five year olds at recess. It was an utter disaster.
3. This team's ballhandling is an affront to the game. Scotty Hopson's inability to simply dribble the ball is disgraceful.
4. NBA scouts had to love seeing Marshawn Powell use Tobias Harris as a turnstile. If a decent SEC player spins you like a top, just imagine what guys in the league can do.
5. Joe Dean had the worst day ever for an analyst. You should at least pretend to have done some prep work.
6. Brian Williams is a cancer. The only thing worse than his constant whining is his offensive game.
7. I can't believe coaches continue to allow Williams to crush their point guards with blind picks. Sooner or later, someone is going to man up and instruct their center to use an elbow to turn Big Bumbler's nose to dust.
8. Colorado is starting to click. That what happens when a new coach finally figures out it's time to unleash the two future pros in his backcourt.
9. Georgetown is in the middle of their annual regular season vacation. They are almost as flighty as Tennessee.
10. There is a silver lining. WIns like this may delude Arkansas into retaining Pelphrey.

This is pretty much all you had to say. Although I'd exempt Tobias Harris and Melvin Goins from #1 (maybe Bone and Fields as well, but they don't get nearly the time). Too bad they can't coax the rest of the team into helping them.

2. I'm not big on basketball schemes but I was surprised they were praising the last possession. It looked terrible.

I didn't get to watch the game, and judging from this I am glad that I didn't watch.

Way too much talent to play this poorly

I'll just quote these, post +1, and move on.

Cheap shot to the nose in retaliation for a legal screen? Classy.

Did anyone see Tony Jones in the final 5 seconds of the last possession shaking and hanging his head? He didn't even watch the final shot by Tobias.

#6. I caught myself thinking the same thing. I am so sick of having to watch Williams *****ing and whining to his teammates, refs, coaches,etc....

I don't think we played as bad as some of you are making it seem. We certainly didn't play to our full potential, we were sloppy but resilient. That game could have completely gotten out of hand with about 10 minutes left but it didnt. We fought back and made some huge shots and almost forced overtime. This wasn't against East Carolina, this was a tough SEC road game. We have plenty of room to improve, especially Scotty hopson's ballhandling. I though Tobias was excellent. Tough loss for sure, but we have played much worse this season in my opinion.

That half filled Bud Walton Arena was really rocking today. It was an act of courage to even stay in the game in such a hostile environment.

Empties everywhere, including hallway outside our hotel rooms.

Cam was a no show.

Anyone thinking that Scotty Hopson will do anything but play all four years at UT is out of their mind.
