1. Disaster averted. It would have been hard to find the words to describe how awful a loss that would have been.
2. Tobias Harris was the best player on the floor tonight. Had Tennessee not quit getting him the ball for a long stretch in the second half, the game would have never been close.
3. Cam Tatum needs to be shut down for the season. For whatever reason, he's become a serious liability.
4. The more Josh Bone plays, the harder it is to figure why he hasn't been on the floor more. He doesn't screw the game up.
5. Kenny Hall is getting there. I'll be very surprised if he isn't a very productive player next year.
6. Brian Williams was a difference maker. Arkansas had no answer for his bulk.
7. John Pelphrey is utterly incompetent. Arkansas would be better off if the players simply coached themselves.
8. If they make the right move and hire a new coach, Arkansas is positioned to be pretty good next year. There's plenty of potential on that roster.
9. Rotnei Clarke bears a striking resemblence to The Miz. That's enough reason for me to hate him.
10. Interesting matchup for UT tomorrow. They get a chance to make up for throwing away the two regular season games against UF.

I don't think I've ever seen a player regress the way he has in all facets of the game.

I know most people had us in anyway, but does tonight's win remove any and all doubt of our inclusion in the NCAA field come Sunday night?

Bone needs to be starting over Tatum.

Who do you think Arkansas will pull once they can Pelphrey? There is already a quite a bit of Mike Anderson talk.

These are all clearly true. But the bolded combo is the most striking. Pearl was playing Bone over Tatum in crunch time tonight, and my thought is "What took you so long?"

Also, any idea why Hopson was resting so much, particularly in the first half? We saw a lot of Tatum and Bone together.

4. hasn't that been obvious for some time now? he ain't afraid.
10. so true. a tennessee win wouldn't be a shocker.

I figured it would. Most reasonable people had us in regardless of what happened tonight, but blowing that game would have been a really bad finale to what had already been a rough finish to the season.

Hat- read rumor that Mick Cronin would make a push for the Arkansas job.

I keep hearing that, but somebody is going to have to explain to me why Anderson would leave Mizzou to come back to the place that ran his mentor off and passed him over for Stan Heath.

I agree with all ten points. When Arkansas tied the game at 68, i was at a point of anger that i have seldom been at as a spectator.

I don't think you would have had a problem finding words.

Great report as always, by the way. Agree with everything.

Don't think there's any way Anderson goes to Arkansas. Cronin looks a bit more likely.
