I was kindof kidding with the Leica comment. They're a little pricey for most, the M9 is a beast of a camera though.

oh ha. They are pricey but they are some solid stuff. Lot of stuff coming out in the smaller market. These economic times call for them to focus on them instead of the big stuff.

Profit margins aren't where people would think they are. Either you r legit and have to go with volume or you aren't and take advantage of people that don't know what they are doing to make a bigger profit.
