The posters on Cockytalk aren't enthusiastic about Muschamp

Where did their fans do to us?
If he's going to go that route, then say it's great to see the opposing coach disappointed.

Didn't stop muschamp from hammering our fans. I understand your perspective but I would still love to hear cbj say that, it would be punch right to muschamp's gut not their fans. Their fans suck anyway so most of them deserve it.lol

After that hire I think on paper the ACC out hired the SEC this year.
Easily could change but I was impressed with the hires they made.

I"ll be Honest.I think he will do good at South Carolina. He knows his offense cost him his job.the players at Sc fit Roper's offense much better than Florida's did. Don't buy into that he can't recruit BS .He signed some studs at Florida.

The Florida fans didn't like his recruiting at all.

Dude went 4-8 at freaking Florida. South Carolina will spend the next 4 years pillow fighting Kentucky.

Even Virginia made a better hire than anyone in the SEC this cycle.

I can see some logic to hiring Muschamp, and he's not going to be a "disaster." Really, he left Florida in better shape than he inherited it; he just wasn't a very good head coach.

He replaced Meyer, who didnt leave Florida without talent, so I dont think he left them in better shape than he inherited it, he didnt recruit any offensive talent whatsoever while he was there.

SC fans are actually furious, and for good reason. None of them saw this hire coming, and the Fire Ray Tanner talk is rampant.

Most of his top OL recruits are in the NFL, and one of his RB's is getting plenty of NFL carries. He missed out on recruiting QB's and WR's that made a big impact. He will recruit fine a USCe.

Dabo Swinney will own recruiting in South Carolina and Muschamp will be stuck with the scraps.

I hope so, but I think Champ will recruit better than CSS. Spurrier hated recruiting and admitted he had let it slip the past 2 or 3 years:dunno:.

Going to be hard to beat Clemson for recruits.

lol I dont even want to know what images popped up when you googled that pic :)

The search was awful. I think it scarred me. Kinda regret throwing that out there and probably owe SGMVols an apology. He planted the image of UK and USCe having a pillow fight, but most likely that wasn't what he was visualizing..

My bad! I COULD do this, but won't - shop in Kiffin and Saban's head there. Somewhere, someone would chuckle, but some doors weren't meant to be opened.

Muschamp was as good as they were gonna get. It's South Carolina for Christs sake, a washed up Spurrier and Muschamp is their ceiling.

Understand your point to a degree, but Muschamp is damaged goods and only a year removed from being fired from Florida. And how in the world does the SCar AD think that CWM can win there when he couldn't win at Florida where they have many more resources and a much more fertile recruiting base? I don't see it. This is great news for Tennessee and I'm confident SCar will rinse and repeat in 3 years....hopefully they negotiated a reasonable buyout.

The Lattimores and Clowneys don't fall from the in-state tree every year.
