College allegedly Fired Biology Professor for Teaching Sex was Determined By Chromosomes X and Y

St. Philip's College in San Antonio, Texas reportedly fired one of its biology professors for teaching his students that sex was determined by X and Y chromosomes.

First Liberty Institute, a law firm that defends religious liberty for Americans, sent a letter to the community college on behalf of the professor, Dr. Johnson Varkey, demanding the institution reinstate him after he was fired in January 2023.

"When teaching the human reproductive system, Dr. Varkey also stated that human sex is determined by chromosomes X and Y, and that reproduction must occur between a male and a female to continue the human species," First Liberty stated in its letter. "In the course of teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology, he made these statements in every class for 20 years, without any incident or complaint."

A sickness they may be aware of due to them constantly asking for more (aka free) access to mental healthcare. There’s a reason over 70% are diagnosed with a mental illness and I suppose it’s the roughly 30% that need access.

If societal acceptance plays a major role in the suicidality of the transgender population, one would expect the suicide rate in places like San Francisco, LA, NYC, and Miami to be considerably lower than in places like Birmingham, Louisville, or Topeka.

If so, those folks who are able to find societal acceptance (even if it requires moving) should, in theory, be less likely to harm themselves.

I've always admired how flexible the 1st Amendment is and how so many people were for it before they were against it before they reevaluate. I had to explain trendsgenderism to my son last night as his friend since he as 4 who had also claimed to be a fox, dog, cat, invisible and a hydra in the last year alone told my son he was trans...not that he was a girl just trans...my son's response (God love him) was. "no your not". Lol my son accepts everyone and wants to remain friends...my concern is that this particular child has been taught to he very manipulative by his mother whom I also suspect is behind this as well..
