The Trans guy who enters the swimming world when from dead last to national champion, the weight lifter who could not compete that won, the list goes on…..I’ll never understand how anyone can defend men playing in women sports, and yes they are men.

With that said I’ve never understood why women would want to play in men’s sports, ie the girls who want to play football.

Exactly. No one is saying that a 40 year old unathletic, out of shape, untrained biological male will suddenly become the best female tennis player in the world once they declare that they are trans. But It seems fairly obvious a trans MTF biogical male who is a competitive athlete and committed to skills improvement and fitness would have a significant edge competing against women vs. men...as was the case with Lia Thomas at the NCAA level. At lower competition levels where the bar for both men and women are lower, it would become exponentially easier for the biological male to dominate the women's division. But apparently there are "studies" that prove otherwise...

Male to female transgenders require lots of hormone therapy and often sexual reassignment surgery. This can be physically and mentally taxing to the body with lots of side effects. It's not something an athlete would want to go through and one reason we haven't seen more test cases.
