Have things really gotten so screwed up that we can't say "women"?
P&G Always controversy over 'people with female sex organs' pamphlet
Procter & Gamble's Always feminine care brand is under fire by conservative commentators for a puberty pamphlet it distributed in the United Kingdom referencing "young people with female sex organs."
The pamphlets were included in 'puberty kits' containing period pads and panty liners the brand sent to schools to give to pupils, according to the Daily Mail. The British tabloid was tipped off by a concerned parent the paper did not identify.
"Dear Always: we are not 'bodies with female sex organs.' We are WOMEN. GIRLS. And we are the only ones who get periods and buy products from your pathetic, dehumanizing, and apparently misogynistic brand. Got it?" Kelly tweeted.
