He asked why logically a pedophile would pretend to be trans and live their life as trans when they could just be a priest instead and have much easier access to kids. Logically they wouldn't, so the whole craze about TRANS = PEDOPHILE IN DISGUISE!!!! is dubious from the very beginning.

It's not a complicated point and somehow you went way off in some other direction haha

There is nothing wrong with Pride. Gay people being proud of who they are. They were born that way.

My question continues to be about Trans.

Transgender people are not gay. They can be gay, just like cisgender people can be gay.

Gay is about sexual orientation.
Trans is about gender, not sex.

Yeah, but somebody would come up with a "Narcan" for Tide pods, and we'd wind up paying for what could have been a self correcting error. If people are really bent on destroying themselves, let them instead of screwing with Darwin's theory.

They are very similar and the vast majority in both categories are already diagnosed with some “kinder labeled” form of mental illness. Is someone who is diagnosed with schizophrenia not mentally ill if they were born that way and happy in their own body….at the time?

I do not know why. They are certainly allies, so I guess that’s reason enough?

But they appear to have fundamentally different beliefs from 2 Spirit, Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Pan-Sexual, Queer, Asexual.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), "LGB adults are more than twice as likely as heterosexual adults to experience a mental health condition. Transgender individuals are nearly four times as likely as cisgender individuals to experience a mental health condition". Many factors aside, this is because many people identifying as LGBTQIA+ face discrimination, family rejection, harassment, and fear of violence.

The following statistics from Mental Health America demonstrate the concerning mental health challenges facing the LGBTQIA+ community:
  • LGBTQIA+ teens are six times more likely to experience symptoms of depression than non-LGBTQIA+ identifying teens.
  • LGBTQIA+ youth are more than twice as likely to feel suicidal and more than four times as likely to attempt suicide than heterosexual youth.
  • 48% of transgender adults report that they have considered suicide in the last year, compared to 4% of the overall U.S. population.

Having experience in the field and dealt with it in my family, I can speak up here. The difficult part of treating a schizophrenic is that they do not understand that they are delusional. Their beliefs, no matter how unrealistic, are as real to them as a sane person's. The argument could be made that is no different than a person born with a 46, XY genotype and a penis believing he is a woman.
