Some of your statements are erroneous at best.

UT athletics is not losing money but they got in financial bind when Hamilton made a bunch of bad hires and UT had to pay off contracts and Cheek was using the Athletic Dept as his own personal piggy bank. Most of the contracts are paid off, Cheek has been told hands Off and ticket [rices have been raised so UT is back in the black but not by much. 2 more years and only Martins buyout will be needed to pay and the SEC Network will bring an infusion of $$$$ by the 2nd year.

The difference is Hart cares only about Football and his 3 pervious stops prove this out

Hart is a major concern,for all sports not playing football and he is a worry there,he backed into hiring CBJ, hopefully he gets his act together,but there is doubt about that

What have you seen in the last couple of years that makes you think they will be any better as seniors as when they step on the floor as freshmen?

I am totally saying this on potential. Middleton seems to be a top quality leader has led Murfreesboro Riverdale to a National Title and three state titles. Nared is a big strong guard that takes the ball to the basket is averaging 30 ppg and 14 rebounds this season on 47 percent field goal shooting and 78 percent free throw shooting. She could be the second coming of Catchings. Tucker is another big guard with a consistent three point shot. I am thinking this influx of talent added to the three players that are playing well this season along with the development of Russell makes the Lady Vols of next season a better team. What is missing this year is a player that can play the three and four plus a two guard that is a little more level headed about shot selection.

I also think all three of these players are better defenders than anyone we have playing those positions now. I know they will be freshmen so you never know how a freshmen will react to college play. I do know that UConn and Stanford even Notre Dame get the maximum out of Freshmen players in their first season.

I don't think three or four of our present players will ever be reliable or great players. The hope is that some of the incoming players can replace the weak links that are playing this season.
