I've been bumping Gza "Liquid Swords" in my ipod the past few days. 15 years later, and still better than 90% of the trash out here today.
It's not the same textbook dubstep tempo at all, but if you meant the beats sounds horribly manufactured to appeal to kids made up of 95% MDMA...

Not a big fan of rap, but Eminem is amazing. His older stuff is more raw, but he's a legend. I've heard all of his solo stuff and D12 stuff (worth a listen if you've never heard them before, it's Eminem and five others). The rap game has become too commercialized. Not as much raw ability as there used to be just a few years ago.
