Kendrick Lamar kills it in this song

If you like Kendrick go check out the new Schoolboy Q, Habits & Contradictions. Same label and two collabs, he's not as good as Kendrick nor does it hit the highs of Section 80, but I think this album is more consistent.

That production....

Kendrick Lamar coming to Nashville with old trick azz Drake Feb. 17th...

I never go to concerts, and I'm not really a big Drake fan, but I would love to go to that.

The problem is rappers usually sound bad live.

(O)verly (D)edicated>>>>Section. 80

Oh my :eek:hmy:

I love (O)verly (D)edicated. I really do. It's a great hip-hop album. But Section is basically a different experience. It's a potentially mind changing album.

I saw that last night. Mos Def changed his name to Yasiin Bey and has another song with Talib Kweli.

I love both but, i find myself listening to OD a lot more. I have to skip 2-3 songs from section .80
Tammy's Song
Chapter 6 and 10 are not any good :peace2:

See... this is what pizzes me off about hip hop. You got clowns like Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane getting all of the publicity while true hip hop fans like myself miss out on guys like Kendrick Lamar. They just get drowned out in the sea of bulls##t rappers.

Wait... has Kendrick Lamar been ghostwriting some of Kanye's recent stuff? This video and the overall theme (absent the skinny jeans) looks and sounds like something Kanye would do.

.....it's a screwed system that you actually have to look for good music.

Thank God for satellite radio.

Production is ridiculous. Second half is ridiculous.

I cannot imagine Kanye doing anything like that.

JMO.

The only one I don't like is Tammy's Song.

How do you not like Chapter 6? Oh goodness. You know how many times I've cruised through Knoxville listening to that with the windows down!? I know, such a loser :)

Actually, I don't like a couple songs on OD. Michael Jordan, I Do This.

The lyrics and the theme are Kanye-esque just a bit. He even seemed to use some of Kanye's cadence/flow in it in a few spots.

JMO

I can see that. Okay, I get what you are saying now.

I was about to say I can't imagine Kayne coming out with a song like that.

HiiiPoWeR is easily one of my favorite rap songs of all time.
