The Refs are not helping Bama/Florida

another senseless post. The illegal substitution penalty was as blatant as humanly possible and had to be called.

I don't know if you know the deal, but nobody really cares what the score is until the end of the ballgame. It's odd the way these W and L thingies work, but that's the truth.

Julio touching the ball simultaneously with the receiver makes it a dead ball considering he was out bounds, oh wait, those are rules.

entertaining. if that were the case, the replay would have lasted about 5 seconds. It didn't.

Look, we know that the got twelve thing is about your willingness to play 12 folks if you could get away with it (because Lord knows that nobody buys the 12 titles from the Dothan Piccadilly Cafe postseason review), but why broadcast it to the world?

We trailed until the fourth quarter, thanks for the help refs! Thanks for the illegal substitution penalty where we had to settle for 3! Now the football gods are conspiring with us instead of against us!

I don’t think there is a conspiracy but the title of the thread “The Refs are not helping Bama/Florida” implies bad calls do not help 1 team over another. Utterly ridiculous.

The phantom touch. How long did it take that excuse to hit your boards? I guess anything to make you feel better about being the beneficiary of a bad call.

Bad calls have been part of the game since the beginning, the whole slander fest is getting out of hand.

the repetitive nature of the bad calls and the coincidental help to the two best teams in the conference will do that to you.

You are correct that bad calls have always been apart of the game, but most of the bad calls in refrence have been at crucial moments in the game
Lsu/uga georgia scores and a bs unsportsmanlike penalty is called. Kicking off from the 15 instead of 30 is big, plus demoralizing

Ufa/ark. Arkansas takes a late lead and has all the momentum the 2 consecutive horrible 15yrd penalties.

Ut/alab. I'm not concerned with the final play as much as other calls. Evrerytime ut would get near the 30 the would penalize them. When they were driving to win the game the bama defender jumps in neutral zone cauising. Ut lineman to jump and its a _ut penalty. If ut had been 5yrds closer it may have changed how they played the last few plays. Possibly even making the kick easier

Given the general bama fan's nature, I would bet my last dollar there would be riots and protests if the calls were just as blatant but against Bama.

It's much easier to be holier than thou when you are sitting on the right end of these things.

Not you in particular but the thought of Alabama fans suggesting others are blowing things out of proportion about entities being "out to get" some team is highly ironic. Of all the championships Bama can claim, Best Conspiracy Theorist Fans is theirs hands down.

I agree with Cotton's post on the first page - I don't think it's intentional but the poor officiating this year certainly has protected Bama and UF.

The Bama/LSU game was quite lopsided - the missed call for hands to the face by a Bama player on the LSU lineman was ridiculous. To make matters worse, they called a penalty on LSU for something else that play.

do what, it's everyone else's fault that they keep getting hammered for cheating. Fulmer couldn't find his ass with both hands in the dark, yet he singlehandedly torpedoed the AL program.

I have thought, all along, that you are not an actual Bammer fan. Just a pr1ck that likes to type shat on the internet. This proves my theory. NO Bammer fan would not know what BPV was saying.

Mr. TRIONZ, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Great quote. :good!:
