As if you needed another reason to hate the Grammys, they left out Vinnie Paul in their In Memorium segment.
Vinnie Paul changed the landscape of drumming on Far Beyond Driven. No one really showcased that groove in metal with the patterns and sound he used. He was a pioneer. I honestly think he has been the most influential drummer in rock/metal in the past 20 years.

Sitting at Bridgestone getting ready for Disturbed and Three Days Grace. Never seen either one of them live.

I was there too. 5th time I've seen Disturbed and honestly that was probably the best one yet. David had a cold or something because his voice was about to give out by the end of the show but it was still awesome.

It was the second time I've seen Three Days Grace and the first time since they changed lead singers; they opened for Disturbed back about 2 concerts ago. Honestly, I didn't think they were very good and I've never really cared for their music that much. It's way too "pop metal" for me. I was pretty bored during their set and was checking the basketball score, which was just making me more miserable.

We were in section 208. I thought they put on a fantastic show. My son got me into Distrubed a couple of years ago. That's who I went with. generally into more classic rock, but these guys are great. I noticed that too, about his voice giving out at the end.

I actually liked TDG better than I thought I would. Their music is just so so to me. The crowd didn't seem to be much into their set.

I absolutely love that album. That band had so much potential and probably would have been huge if not for the singer being killed in a car crash.
I agree. Same with Acid Bath
