CBJ said a Pro style O that's up tempo, no huddle which will wear down the other teams Defense and keep them off balance.

I'm thinking it's going to be more like BeliCheat and the Patriots run where they can run well or pass well on any given play depending on what the D is showing.

Having a QB that can also run at anytime will also help keep the D offbalance.

I think we may just like what CBJ and staff are going to put on the field in 2 or 3 years.

As long as we start adding up more Wins every year I'll accept that but I need to see solid improvement every year especially starting in year 2 or 3.

I don't expect much in recruiting or on the field in year 1 unfortunately but I hope I get pleasantly surprised.

You guys do realize Chaney is a "spread" guy? We ran a style of spread last year. Jones offense is more of a hard nosed run first spread, Chaney's spread is pass happy (Purdue). Its not gonna be as big of a jump as people think. Im more worried about our defense...

It's going to be a hybrid pro style with a sprinkling of spread..not full blown spread. And hybrid might be too strong of a word still.

Poorly coached, out of position, poor system for the personel, starting saftey hurt, etc...good by 34 and dont let the door hit you on the way out!

Good point. Moving to a zone blocking scheme. No one had a problem with more athletic O lineman and zone blocking when Lane Kiffin switched to it. When Kiffin did it everyone loved it. Now Jones wants to do it and everyone is freaking out. I think its funny we had the worst defense in Tennessee history last year, and everyone is worried about an offense that has proven it works in the SEC (NC Florida, NC Auburn, Texas A&M).

Not freaking out but I get alittle nervous when we change wholesale schemes. Really makes me nervous when we change something that was working.

As far as our defense goes...we could change to a stallingrad 4-3 cover 2 mustang hybrid and it wouldnt bother me at all.

Good Lord, There you are again. I guess you didn't take the Xanax. If you did, take some more.I think most people understand he uses spread to get the defense to show where they are commiting either to stop run in the box or commiting to cover and you call your play at the line accordingly, whether it is run or pass. Step down from the soapbox.

True but those players are more than just good qbs. They were/are the best players in the country.
