The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump

I understand your perspective. But what's wrong with asking questions, or defending the appearance of abuse? Please enlighten me? I guess we're all just brainwashed dropout deplorables then Mr Jim Acosta?

Look Junior...I'm not a fool, nor naive, so please don't get carried away in your hubris. Whenever you care to have an adult conversation let me know, until then grow-up with your sycophant conspiracy spin.

FYI....Hillary never said all Trump supporters were deplorables. That was just one of three categories. Plus, she was right about the deplorable category. If it represents 5, 10, or 30% of the Trump supporters is the only thing up for debate.

What percent of the population do you think actually like Trump as a person? I know VN is not an accurate representation since over 50 % are deplorable.

What percent of the population likes any politician regardless of party affiliation? Better yet, what percentage trusts any politician? The vast majority of politicians are corrupt. It exists on both sides of the aisle. What I find disturbing, and what I will always find disturbing, is how people defend one side while demonizing the other. When you criticize Trump while excusing Hillary, you are no better than those who criticize Hillary while excusing Trump. I have no doubt Trump has skeletons. I'm not sure he actually colluded with Russia since I've yet to see definitive proof, but he is a scum bag imo. The thing is, when has simply being a scum bag kept anyone from office?

Being a scumbag might be the only qualification. We had a couple of real winners this last time.

Likes him ‘as a person’. Maybe 1/3. I’d say the other 1/3 tolerate or think he’s so-so. Final 1/3 can’t stand the sight of him. Pretty normal for most President’s likely.

I think he’s doing a great job for a political rookie.
He’s had no years of the Swamp, so resistance is at most corners. He’s independent that’s for sure. And he actually gives a crap about our country. If you look at his presidency, he’s made some great headway. Yes there’s been fumbles, and there will be more. But I like him.

I just want him to be successful, so we can all benefit for the better, thus I root for him in ‘most’ cases.

I think if you list the last 10 presidents and have 1000 randomly selected people score each on a scale of 1 to 10 on decency and personal likability, Trump would score the lowest with no close second.

This sad state of affairs is what our great country has turned into. We have become exactly what our founding fathers warned us not to do. I'm glad I'm getting old and don't have to see what looks like the end of our Republic.

I agree, even though I imagine that you see me as part of the problem.

Rudy Giuliani:

"There are two standards in this country. One for Hillary Clinton and one for everybody else."

"The investigation of Hillary was fraudulent. Comey had no intention of indicting her and made that clear before the investigation was even over with. It was fraudulent."

"I know Jim Comey, I know the President. Jim is a liar. People at the FBI are hanging their heads in shame over all of this."

"I'm giving you a fact you don't know. The payment to Stormy Daniels ran through a law firm. It did not come from campaign contributions. It's not illegal."

"It's been proven there was no collusion, no obstruction of justice, yet Mueller's investigation is without boundaries. Its now a witch hunt. It's a failure of the Justice Dept."

"The crimes committed in all of this are now by the government."

He doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself and his Crime Family Syndicate; he sure as hell doesn't care for the Republic, otherwise he'd attempt to hold himself to respectable behavior and not try to be a little dictator.

Fascism is alive and well, and he wears a Red Hat while his conservative and Republican lackeys bend over backwards to justify it because Hillary ate a piece of dry toast for breakfast, that Commie b*tch.

Was fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn unfairly charged with making a false statement?

Making a false statement under oath in court is one thing, but what makes lying to the FBI a criminal act? Isn't it the job of law enforcement to actually investigate and discover the facts rather than to coerce self incrimination? I see three possible ways to avoid self incrimination plead the 5th, refuse to speak, and lie; and lying to law enforcement is not the same as lying under oath in court - or do we have our own version of the Gestapo and SD rolled into one?

Making false statements to a "Federal officer" has been a criminal offense since 1863 under the original False Claims Act. It's been modified several times since with the latest being Title 18 of the United States Code adopted in 1948.

Whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States knowingly and willfully falsifies, conceals or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact, or makes any false, fictitious or fraudulent statements or representations, or makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or entry …

So we had the Gestapo before the Nazis- makes me feel so much better about rights and freedoms. I guess there's not a need for investigation if you can just line up a bunch of the likely suspects and ask, "Did you kill ..."

You might know it was something else cooked up by the yankees during the Civil War.

Somehow I don't think totalitarianism was intended in the of, by, and for the people thing.

Might need to tell that to your boy, since he wanted to jail reporters for reporting news he didn't like.

Might want to add that he is defending Trump. This isn't some analysis of truth. This is Guliani protecting the Trump Crime Syndicate.
