The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump

DcTRO0LV0AAGuKJ.jpg

I’m not the one rationalizing with my imagination to soothe the butthurt. So, to answer your goofy meme, no, I am not scared.

Everybody should be scared when the resources of the federal government are used to go searching for a crime in order try to overturn the results of an election.

Searching for a crime? The crime is Russia interfered in our election process. Catching the players is the investigation. Don't even start of "wanting to overturn the results" because nobody is saying it should be even if guilt is proven. We are bracing for Pence as well you should be. The only thing people on the left are really pissed about is the Supreme Court appointment and even then we are not sure how he will do.

Will the right ever understand that their complaints about misconduct by Clinton or Obama do not excuse misconduct by Trump?

Apparently not.

Or that the left has set the new standard for behavior and you don’t get to suddenly have a high standard when the other side is in charge.

Going to need some proof other than a fake dossier that was paid for by Clinton. The same Clinton that we know broke federal law. The same one that Trump spanked in the election.

I don't feel the need to brace for anything.

Fair enough. I think Mueller has uncovered evidence of a far-reaching conspiracy to undermine our voting process, along with a plethora of other crimes committed by the Trump Crime Syndicate.

But neither you nor I are privy to what Mueller has uncovered. We'll just have to wait and see.

What you think does not equate to fact. Feel free to believe what you will, but until it's proven or revealed, please stop touting it as factual. That's called lying.

If this were actually happening, it would be cause for concern. Anyone that believes that this is what is happening should be upset.

However, for those of us who believe that this is in no way what is happening and that the investigation is legitimate and warranted, the scary thing is the number of people Trump has deluded into believing he is the victim.

Yeah I'm sure it's not because a crime syndicate is operating out of the West Wing.

I understand disliking Trump. He's a pompous ass. But some of you blow **** out of proportion with your accusations. Why not just stick to simple truths rather than creating your outrageous narratives?

I felt the Hillary Clinton investigation was legitimate. Hell, I thought there was more than enough evidence to nail her. But we see where that went. And more shocking to me, Dems still wanted to elect her President, going so far as to rig their own primary.

Delusional people like that should scare you.

One thing I feel fairly certain on, if Mueller had any damning evidence supporting the whole Trump/Russia collusion charges, he'd have already brought it to light. To me, his silence says he has nothing. The only thing I'm convinced Trump is guilty of at this time(notice I say at this time) is adultery. Clinton proved that's not something you get booted out of office for. This idea that some have that Mueller is sitting on damning evidence is simply ridiculous. What would be the point? You can either prove he colluded to rig the election, or you can't. And I know he'll continue to dig, but right now, he has zilch. I highly doubt he ever finds anything at this point, otherwise, why pursue things like Stormy Daniels?

I felt the Hillary Clinton investigations were much ado about nothing. Hell, I thought the right would drop it after every investigation turned up empty. But we see what happened. The right continued to demonize her throughout the election and many continue to believe some type of conspiracy theory to this day.

Delusional people like that scare me.

A conspiracy involves multiple people in concert, not one person, dolt. Hillary did this to herself.

People who believe a weaponized FBI/DOJ provided an honest representation of Hillary’s malfeasance are either lying or retarded, or both.

Probably not for some.

Now you among a handful of others screeching about this is about as bad as Trump calling someone brash and egotistical.

Hillary was corrupt as hell. I'm not saying Trump isn't because he may very well be, but continuing to drone on as if Hillary was some innocent, you are ****ing delusional. Take out the politics and you know she's guilty. Stop defending her because she shares your political affiliation.

That is not what is happening. If you want to throw that argument around then Comey revealing the investigation into Hillary was election tampering.

Fox and "friends" tried for 25 years to bring her down. They never could get anything to stick, but they did damage her reputation enough among their consumers that a person like Trump was able to win.

Then why hasn't he moved? How long is the great Mueller going to allow Trump to stay in office before he releases all of this evidence?

I don't know, how long did Nixon stay in office while under investigation? Few years, right?

Stop denying Trump has done anything wrong. That is lying, according to your definition.

He is right. The entire Trump Family Crime Syndicate is operating free will in the WH. For now..

He has to acquire overwhelming evidence to convince the Red Hats and foolish Republicans in the House.

It makes you wonder why a Republican would do such a thing?

As 72 says below and many of us have tried to point out, Trump is the enemy to virtually everybody in DC because he isn't one of them. They've got things the way they want, and they resent any outsider - particularly an outsider that might blunder into disturbing their rat hole.

The DC establishment is like an incestuous snake - a bureaucracy made up of Rs and Ds (when they feel a sense of belonging), and the politically indeterminate (largely liberal) who will morph to any side to protect their domain.

The bureaucracy is a two headed, politically hermaphroditic snake that continues to live and poison at will without a head. That's the nature of bureaucracies - survival and preservation - regardless of direction. How things work in a bureaucracy and how things are directed to work are two entirely different things. Directives contrary to the bureaucracy's inner direction will be lost, buried in in-boxes, or simply strangled by malicious compliance (turning the appointed head into a fool in the process).

I absolutely think Scott Pruitt is a fool all on his own, but that guy has been groomed for his fall from day one by his own underlings.

Heads of nebulous three and four letter agencies may come and go, but the rank and file will live on to a well funded retirement, and do or not do whatever the hell they want until that day happens.
