The Tuscaloosa News published a survey of nine sportswriters from Ala, Tenn, Miss and Fla on who would win each regional and super regional, and only 1 writer tabbed the Hoos to win the first round in columbia and no one game dbu a db of support to advance.

toUT, Vandy, , Texas werethe only 3 teams to be picked unanimously to go to Omaha, All picked Ark to advance,and a majority picked pigs tp win it all. The other treams picked tp make final 8 were texas tech, miss stat, tcu and la tech.

Before replay days when the ball clearly beat the runner it was an out. The actual tag wasn’t critical. Now replay gets all super micro frame technical on us. Although I didn’t see evidence to overturn the call in this DB/UVa game. You couldn’t tell when the tip of the glove touched the leg or even when the foot touched the bag.

I’ve been surprised by the ACC this postseason. They’ll likely have at least 2, maybe 3 teams in Omaha.
