That's opinion, not fact. If you remove the word "failure" and replace it with "disappointment" I'll get on board with you. In a one and done tourney, with plenty of other teams who have NBA talent on rosters, you can lose.
There are a lot of blue goggled morons who would agree with you, but that doesn't make it fact either. These are student athletes, 19 - 20 year olds, going to class the day after getting back from Starkville at midnight the night before. Trying their best to make history.
They have already succeeded far more than either of us will. Who are any of us to call that season a failure if they lose?
I know too many of the blue goggled morons I guess. And saying they've succeeded more than you or I is the most opinionated thing ever. If success is defined as winning more basketball games, then yes they "out-succeeded" me. Luckily my success isn't predicated on how many bball games I win or how many points I score. If KAT ends up drafted and bankrupt in 3 years I'd argue vehemently that I'm more successful.
