If we ever figure something out on half-court offense (I know, I know), look out.

We played what? 12 guys tonight?

We're playing too many players, mixing and matching too much, and have too many fresh faces to have any set offense yet. Pearl is still trying to figure out what he's got.

I'd like to see Melvin and Trae out there at the same time. Instead of Mcbee subbing for Scotty it needs to be Trae.

Harris impressed tonight, efficient is the perfect description of his game. I'd give him more touches. We went inside maybe once or twice tonight which I didn't like. As I've stated multiple times, Mcbee just doesn't need to be on the floor, he's a liability on both ends of the floor. Mcrae should be in over Mcbee. Thought Goins played well also. The officials had me scratching my head alot tonight. For some reason they just refuse to let the teams play when the game's out of reach.

I arrived right during the national anthem so I missed it. I've never understood why teams left during the national anthem. I've always found it extremely puzzling/tacky. Glad I'm not the only one.

I can't wait to see our front-court in action in January when we have everyone eligible and hopefully healthy.

Most front-court depth we've had under Pearl by a long shot.

Scotty was decent tonight, he drove to the hole several times(although rather weak). He also didn't seem to disappear/float as much. Still weak on D though.

Scotty is usually decent against the UTCs of the world. As soon as he runs into a team that is good enough to challenge him and cause him to pick up some fouls, he drops his head and drags his tail all the way to the bench, where whatever talent he has seems to stay.

1. Technically, teams aren't staying in the locker room for it; they're going to the locker room before it. Both teams are out warming up, and UT stays out for the Anthem, while the vast majority of opponents during Bruce's tenure head to the locker room. Then, UT goes to the locker room after the flag leaves the floor.

If anything that looks worse. The color guard is coming out with the flags, people begin to rise, Tennessee lines up facing the flag, and the opposing team leaves to go to the locker room? They can't stay out for an extra 2-3 minutes. It's just tacky.

He was the most inefficient player on the floor. He should have been able to score at will against them. Some people need to just accept that Hopson is always going to be a mediocre player.

Honestly, I agree. I guess I just value the points scored by any UT player a bit more than some posters on here.

I think the Mommas boy should have been given a shot at the end. i like that Hubert took one against his old team. I alos cannot stand Omar Wattad. Th at guy got on my nerves in the rocky top league a few years agaoi while he was at Georgetown. He kept crying Lofton is fouling me ref, meanwhile Chris was going off for 50 on that douche.

I think it's become clear Hopson is a victim of hype. This is what Hopson is.

lol

It's not good for anyone to score 13 points on 14 shots. It's just not efficient basketball. It costs them points as well.

No argument here. I'm just glad he produced and we won.

Arencibia was honored at the game tonight. I gotta admit, it was kinda exciting.
