So you're saying we don't have a chance of beating UK? If you haven't been paying attention, this team is capable of beating anyone and capable of losing to anyone. We certainly have a chance of knocking off UK at home.

Lots of people keep saying that, but Dec. 11 was a long time ago. Other than Vandy at home where they had a great comeback, I fail to see how the team we've seen the past 2 months is anything like the team that beat Pitt and Villanova.

Which is exactly what the Selection Committee will see.

It was a response to an idiotic statement that we can't beat UK at home this year.

Who said we can't? I said I don't think we will based on what I've seen.

And I find it idiotic chalking up a W against Kentucky when we just lost at home to Georgia.

Exactly. It's not like it's impossible to beat them at home, but it sure doesn't look probable at this point.

Nobody is chalking up a W against Uk. Stop twisting peoples comments

I'd be surprised if we beat Kentucky. It's not impossible, but I don't see it. I see us finishing the regular season 18-13.

When they lose to someone as bad as Arkansas or Charlotte, come talk to me. And, you are aware of who we've lost to at home, right?

Last time I checked, alabama's got some pretty bad losses

Bruce really hung Tobias out to dry today by not switching him off Price. It was obvious from the get go that it was a mismatch. You figure after the 4th consecutive bucket Bruce would've done something. Price had zero business scoring 20 in this one.

I've been saying this for weeks: This simply is not an NCAA level team. It has had NIT written all over it.

Yes, but they've put themselves in jeopardy. They woud be wise to sweep the Mississippi State/South Carolina/Kentucky set.

It seems Mississippi State and South Carolina are absolute must-wins now. A loss in either of those makes bringing a trophy home from Atlanta the last chance.

No need to take it personally, it's just that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck......

I wanted this team to be good too and it has been very disappointing after that great start. It's a shame to see Hopson coming around and the rest of the team regressing so badly. I still think we have too many bodies and no chemistry. Once a few of these guys graduate next year (BW in particular. He is dead weight) we'll be better.

Nothing's personal. I just thought your asking for some cred over your otherworldly soothsaying capacity was pathetic. That's not personal either, so don't take it as such.

Yes. I am here to get some cred. I live for cred. It is oh so valuable.

Or I was just making a point that I think this team has looked like a .500 SEC team all year when you take an unbiased look at them. We shouldn't be surprised at the results.

Not the beginning of the year.

I'll say this now but if anyone thinks this year has been brutal, wait until next year. And this is before we receive the LOA.

We started horrible. At the game at one point we were shooting 17% the score screen showed. Folks were not even missing close. It almost seemed like we were shooting in the Georgia Dome with the off center rims.

I might be delusional, but I still think we'll be a better team next year. We'll be more athletic and more talented. We have a lot of guys getting minutes this year who really don't have a role or know how to play their position. We'll miss the Hopson of the last couple of weeks (because I think he's looking like a draft pick), but I think Harris can step into that role just fine.
