JP Prince could be the absolute worst excuse for a player I have ever seen. He makes me wish for the return of Lang Wiseman.
Can someone help me complete this sentence. JP Prince is a poor man's _________.
I am totally stumped. I've been trying for about 2 minutes now and I can't think of a [player X] bad enough at basketball such that calling JP a poor man's version of [player X] truly illustrates how bad JP is.
1. If you didn't enjoy the first 40 minutes, you don't like college basketball. There won't be many games more entertaining this regular season.
2. I can't imagine being a WCC coach. Those officials were utterly wretched. Ted Valentine and Bruce Benedict need to work that league.
3. Gee, where are all the folks to tell me how wrong I've been about JP Prince? Matt Bouldin showed everyone watching tonight what JPuke is all about.
4. I hope this series continues. It is obvious they just don't like each other.
5. Can we stop with all the talk about what a huge upgrade Bobby Maze is? His play tonight indicates he's regressing as fast as Ramar did.
6. Steve Forbes is a "defensive tactician" in the same way Hugo Chavez is a "humanitarian."
7. Kudos, Wayne Chism. Bring that game every night and I'll enjoy watching you in the NBA.
8. Holding Pargo to 6 and losing indicates how bad our overall defense really is. At any given point, at least two guys are open for good shots.
9. Tyler Smith will be sorely missed. He attacks the way a player should.
10. This team had better toughen up before next Tuesday. Meeks and Patterson are salivating.

One of my all time favorites from my bama side of the family, the other one was always "pull the door to". To where?!!
Scots-Irish in AppalachiaSimilarly, "I’m a-fixin’ to milk the cow" has its roots in "fix" as a Gaelic synonym for "do" or "make" and "a-going" is from the phrase "ag dul."
"Fixing to" is one of the southernisms I use on occasion.
how about fi'n to? does that one have roots in Appalachia? It has to do with "to and fro." It makes sense, it just isn't a widely accepted saying outside of the South, and maybe out towards Texas.
I personally like the saying "fixin' to." It has its roots in Appalachia.

I think there were 8 or 9 backdoor cuts for layups last night. When that did not work they were able to penetrate and dish out.
Previous games have also allowed numerous cuts to the basket. This defense is so soft and cannot understand why we are not pressing. Who or what is CBP covering up for defensively. There is several weaknesses out there on the court that are causing mismatches. Almost like CBP is trying to hide these weaknesses and not adjusting well at all.
Hatvol has been saying that Bobby Maze was not going to be as good as everyone thought he was in November. It certainly looks that way now. Regardless, he is capable of playing better than he did.
