1. Not that I needed any other reason to loathe Heath Schroyer, but I got one. Not having your team on the floor for the playing of the National Anthem is inexcusable.
2. While I'm hammering the Wyoming Weasel, on what planet is it a good idea to have a midget trying to inbound the ball against guys 6'6" and taller? Steve McClain is certainly smarter than that.
3. As always, Wyoming will win some conference games in Laramie. That won't change the fact they'll finish no better than 5th in the MWC.
4. I'll give UT a pass on the first half. A bad opponent, a lackluster crowd, and exams are a formula for a slow start.
5. The defense was not bad. Holding a team with a couple of decent offensive options under 60 is acceptable.
6. The movement in the halfcourt offense was better. The excecution was not.
7. It says volumes about Maze and Goins that Pearl is increasingly playing them off the ball and putting someone else at the top of the offense. The point guard play is no better than it was last season.
8. I'm beginning to believe Tatum is never going to fully recover his spring off the floor. He's playing well, but still comes up short getting over the rim at least once a game.
9. Saturday should be interesting. There's no way the game should be close, but a halfassed effort will create a mess.
10. Hopefully, a sold out FedEx Forum will get this team enthused. They're just assembly line beating bad teams right now.

Until this team gets a PG, it will not be any better than last year...and better is defined as making a strong run in the tournament...PG play is crucial down the stretch

very disappointed in 3 point shooting and some really bad passing in this game. rebounding was pretty weak as well but defense was improved in the fact we actually inflicted our will on an opponent as we made them shoot 3's all night and they are a team that loves to drive and get fouled.
woolridge was not a complete waste of space tonight...but close

We have got to start hitting our 3 point shots and making FTs, otherwise we will lose some games because of it. To me these are our main issues right now. Hopson, Tatum, and McBee can't buy a 3 right now and who would have believed that Tyler would miss 4 FT's in a row.

Was that Jeremy Roenick behind UT's bench? Am I the only one that would recognize Jeremy Roenick?

I would recognize him, but my seats are behind the bench as well. Thus, his back would have been to me.

I happen to catch Jim Wogan's sports piece on the news and he interviewed Roenick. He's apparently doing some show about coaches that's set to air on Verus.

Didn't shoot the 3 ball well @ all. Once again it seemed as if we jus wore them down like all the other games. In it in the first half against us but then thier starting 5 got bushed. That won't happen in the SEC so these boys better get thier crap together. GO VOLS.

I caught a few glimpses of (who I thought to be) him on TV, and he seemed to be walking around a bit while wearing a long-sleeve, gray shirt.

Can't for the life of me figure out why he'd be in Knoxville, Tennessee on a Tuesday night watching a UT basketball game against Wyoming, but this guy looked just like him.

we are severely Overrated! we will be another 7-10 seed in the NCAA tournament if we make it. We might be destined for the NIT. The SEC has improved and we have at best stayed the same. I would argue we are getting worse!

Pearl subject of television pilot

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- Television crews are following Tennessee Head Coach Bruce Pearl this week, hoping to bring his antics to national TV.
A production unit that produces "Jim Rome is Burning" on ESPN and "Sports Jobs" on Versus, is making Pearl the subject of a pilot for a planned series called "Coaches".
Former National Hockey League star Jeremy Roenick will host the show, and is in Knoxville with the production crew
