I was at the game. Anyone care to explain what this is all about?
The longer the season goes, the more teams are going to exploit UT's personnel limitations. There's no real remedy for that.there's like a whole month and a half left till tourneys start. Is it just the funk takes longer to wear off than in other sports or like have something to do with they actually need time off to get over it rather than just time?
ESPN kept going back to the guy (who was in the student section) all game. He wasn't that bad, but goodness, he wasn't good either. The fact that they kept going back to him when he had nothing of value to say was just annoying.
At one point he called a Mcbee three "automatic". I just with that were true.
I'd rather see Williams back then see Pearl on the floor ever again. I cringe every time he touches the ball.
It doesn't help that we have people in the stands heckling him. When he hit that reverse layup TBA exploded. But the moment he touched the ball in the second half some of our "fans" were already yelling at him.
Plus anyone who's gone to school with him knows he's as big of a douchebag as Ryan Childress.
No point in hanging on the subject but from what I saw out of both of them, there's no way I'd ever stay in the same room with either unless I was forced to.
You may not like Stephen Pearl but if you care anything about this basketball team you won't heckle him when he's got the ball. What good comes out of that? It might make you feel better but that's about it.
Are you basing this opinion on personal interactions, or just what you see on T.V.? If either one of them was a douche to you personally, I understand where your coming from. If you are just basing this on what you heard on a message board, and what you watched at games, I am dubious.
he was a journalism major i believe
could also have been part of that espn "connect to campus" week thing they were doing maybe?
