California governor to order National Guard troops back from Mexico border

California Gov. Gavin Newsom will announce plans Monday to pull back all members of the National Guard who have been deployed to the border with Mexico, saying the state would not be part of the Trump administration's "manufactured crisis."

The 360 National Guard troops in California will be redeployed to fight wildfires, expand the state's Drug Task Force and collect intelligence on drug cartels, Newsom will announce.

How can you say manufactured crisis when thousands upon thousands are in a caravan? Do they really think people are this stupid?

You want to take a wild guess at how many illegals they shot, killed, or apprehended? New Mexico did the same and pulled their troops. Did you actually think they were armed and chasing down illegals across the desert?

What are you babbling about? Nobodys making it up there's 1000s of people in a caravan heading to the border. It isn't manufactured. I mentioned nothing about guns or the military in my post but yet you ignored what I wrote and went with that, you dumbazz.

Where is the "crisis"? We handled the last one, and the one before that, and the one before that. What makes this one any different?

Dozens of supporters of President Donald Trump's border security efforts formed a human wall Saturday across a small part of the southern border where there is no fencing.
The group gathered near Sunland Park, New Mexico, linking arms and chanting "build a wall," according to CNN affiliate KFOX.
Many held up American flags. Some sported "Make America Great Again" hats, and said they were there to show their support for the construction of a wall at the border.

The last one you mentioned showed up where a border wall existed. This one is supposedly targeting an area in TX without a wall.

I wondered last night what happened when I heard the deal is gridlocked after hearing on Friday a deal should be done by Sunday. A late Democratic demand thrown in tells us why.




The Democrats made a late demand that assures they will not have a bill for Trump on the 15th. The new proposal would limit the number of beds for people being detained. They want to limit the number of beds available for detainees to 16,500 – but we have nearly 25,000 criminal aliens. The Democrats are being totally irresponsible. Sooner or later the voters are going to wake up to the fact that Democrats don’t worry about their safety. How much damage can 8,300 criminals do? And they won’t come back for their hearings. They will simply disappear.

No. They don't need to be on the border putting up tents while the Drug cartels are bringing stuff in through ports of entry. Like everyone knows they are not going to get much intelligence from asylum seekers about Drug cartels .

It's all sad that he lost his limbs, but your tin foil hat is on too tight if you think a war vet should be immune to the same TSA screening as the rest of us schmucks. Like I said, same sh|t happened to me when I was in a chair - this guy could have ptsd, seems prudent that they'd do so.

Lawmakers Reach Agreement in Principle to Fund Border Security, Avoid Shutdown

Negotiators in Congress say they have reached an agreement in principle to fund the government and avoid another partial government shutdown.

The emerging agreement was announced by a group of lawmakers, including Republican Sen. Richard Shelby and Democratic Rep. Nita Lowey, after a closed-door meeting on Capitol Hill.

The talks had cratered over the weekend because of Democratic demands to limit immigrant detentions by federal authorities, but lawmakers apparently broke through that impasse Monday evening.
