Lol. Yea and they shut the government down then and proposed a bill that had to be voted in before anyone knew what was in it. That’s your typical dim shenanigans. The only failure was it's implementation to begin with and now it’s just gonna die on its own. Once welfare is given its almost impossible to take it back...which is sad.

To make matters worse the Dims threw gas on a super-heated mess because they didn't do anything about cost containment. They are too much in bed with the drug companies and the trial lawyers. So Obamacare is going to be one of those gifts that just keeps on giving, and we will pay dearly for that just like all the other entitlement/social engineering programs. Of course, if the Dims hadn't locked the conference room doors (walked out on the negotiation), some of those cost issues would have had to be addressed.

We can scour the internet too and find stories of illegal aliens becoming doctors and Rhodes scholars, of saving babies, of rushing into burning buildings, etc. You need to look at the overall statistics which show that illegal immigrants are LESS likely to commit violent crime than the native born population. Of course when you have millions of people falling into a particular category (being undocumented) some of those will be bad apples. No one is maintaining differently.

No, it's not. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too. If you play the "if they were never here" game you also gotta look at all the good they've done and throw that out too. Lots of folks have been saved by illegal immigrants (just think of all the illegal household help who have likely called to report heart attacks, performed CPR on babies choking, etc).
