The sky isn’t falling… OSU is just that good.

Yep, Banks let a back up QB that was scared to death and wasn't gonna pass just march down the field against Arkansas. Nico and offense was terrible, that's why we didn't get home playoff game
Oline that game was absolutely atrocious. Plenty of blame to go around that game. Heupel also went conservative bc of the Oline struggles if you remember and played to the defense. We just didn’t get the job done. Horrible game.

Folks the sky isn’t falling calm down looks like we just ran into a hot team who barely lost to Oregon the 1st time and has hit there stride after a bad loss. We were just the first victim.
We shouldn’t have gotten beaten as bad as we did. No outcome is gonna change that.

Best team money can buy. but if it works we just need a bigger checkbook
Ohio state was starting with a better team than most. That team is top three almost every year recruiting. They have elite talent everywhere, where they didn’t they went out and bought it in the portal. Talent gap has to be wide for Day to win. He has two of the best coordinators in the country, elite talent in every position and still manages to crap the bed plenty.

You’re not wrong.

Bama game the other day. Michigan did almost nothing offensively that game. Bama just managed to shoot themselves in the foot, then the leg, crotch, and torso after that. 😂
Michigan didn't do the rest of CF any favors by waking up a POd OSU squad. But seriously, that Michigan defense is decent and they had quite a few top defensive players out against Bama

The one thing Michigan had going for them was Milroe…great young man but he’s not the QB you need to win championships IMO

If he wins a natty he should receive the Ed Orgeron Award…😂

The comments I remember after losing to Ohio St were predicting they would be in the finals and would be hard to beat. I also remember fans calling for Day's job after they lost to Michigan for the 4th time. Most Vol fans were saying we got a bad draw in the play off brackets, the toughest path to win a NC

Probably wasn’t going to matter. Ohio State is more of a finesse offense. They’re probably even better in perfect weather although Howard almost never missed the night we played them.
It mattered because it affected us, on a neutral field with perfect weather we play a better game, maybe still lose but still at this point in the game we had fared better than Oregon has.

I think the "sky is falling" mentality was piled on by the transfers (notably Mike Matthews). However, even with that, it is still a wait and see approach.
