Please dear god, Obama needs to tape their mouths shut and throw them in a closet. And he himself needs to take another week or two off in Hawaii. Every time they open their mouths the market drops triple digits. And when they finally do speak they need to say that the banks are on their own and the government is done trying to help those clowns.

He absolutely understands that those most heavily into the market, thus taking the worst beating, ain't ever going to vote for him anyway. Giving them the finger just doesn't seem to bother him in the least.

I dont really folow the dow because it only follows 30 stocks and a bunch of them (GE, GM, C, BAC, AIG) all kind of suck, i like to look at the S&P500

I am still looking for 688 on the S&P500. We should have a big rally soon, but every day it looks more bleak and I think we have an "L" shaped bottom

Futures are pointed up after ADP data showed a job loss of under 700K

Yeah, but if it breaks 5,000 I think it would get worse than it is now. I just see lots of panic sell orders comming in if it breaks that level.

Yeah, but if it breaks 5,000 I think it would get worse than it is now. I just see lots of panic sell orders comming in if it breaks that level.

most of my clients are saying either a) i'm not buying anything for 6 months (most of those are in cash) or b) i'm sticking it out no matter what. i bet we never break 6,000, let alone 5,000.

if it happens it will be the biggest short rally in the banks in history.

I couldn't agree more...I don't think we even come close to 6,000. (IMO)
