Discrimination is not “okay” but people/business should be free to discriminate. If you choose to discriminate you run the risk of suffering the consequences but those consequences shouldn’t come from the .gov.

Why was this case brought up to SCOTUS to begin with? No one was using this idiots service; she wasn't even providing this service. She went looking for a problem and found one. The problem is how far this court will go with their ruling.

Injustice and bad law needs to be challenged as soon as possible.

I have no idea why it was brought but kinda sounds the same as the people who tried to force a cake to be made. There was no need for that either

I hope the ruling is that it's not the govts job to manipulate markets. It never works out like they claim

Why do you put your trust in people whose only life skill appears to be getting elected?

Where did I say that? Pretty sure they're included in the group I mentioned. The people you allow to make these decisions for you are not doing it with your best interests in mind

Fox threw a hissy fit but there's a big difference: they didn't call for the gov't to get involved. No lawsuits. They wanted the free market system to handle it

Not in that instance, that I know of, but Florida and Texas have both recently passed laws that expressly limit the speech of private businesses on a theory of being anti-discrimination. It’s not a uniquely liberal platform point.

If he's a photographer or DJ why should he be compelled to do a Christmas party? Or Hannuka? Why infringe on his religious liberty? Let another photographer or DJ have this job?

She is being compelled to do something by the state of Colorado. I gave some similar instances and am asking if they should be compelled to do the same. If you believe they should my question is why?
