Big win for anybody desiring to reign in government over reach. It is a stupid position “well the law is ambiguous and the Feds say it’s within their purview so we’ll just go with that.” Moronic. This is a great day! Love or hate Trump he deserves credit for his SCOTUS nominations, they have been pretty good so far in knee capping federal power.
probably mondayPOTUS immunity should be coming out soon..
These rulings are 100 percent why I voted for Trump. I give zero chits about his personality. I care that he put multiple conservative justices on who have pulled power back from the government. Chevron ruling today was massive on so many levels.
He gets re-elected and odds are he is replacing 2 maybe three more judges.
Whoa whoa whoa. I’m guessing she was ill or something and once she realizes how lucid her opinion was she’ll fix itJackson's concurrence in Fischer is surprisingly level-headed and lucid. It might be the best thing she's written since joining the court, which is admittedly a very low bar.
Who besides (potentially) Sotomayor? Think that Thomas steps down to let Trump replace him? These rulings are 100 percent why I voted for Trump. I give zero chits about his personality. Yes, Sotomayor changing would drastically alter the court.sotomayor is the only one that changes the complexion of the court
I think the set of rulings this year show various coalitions of members despite the rhetoric that it's all the right leaners
