The Tiger Woods saga

well.....I met him and talked to him for about 15 mins at the PGA Merch Show back in 96/97 and he was very nice and seemed authentic (he was double fisted). BUT....I have heard others say what you said. I could have just caught him on a "good" day.
Was he representing some company at the show? He would have to be nice to do that.

I'm sure he was, just not at the booth when I talked to him.

Payne Stewart and Arnold Palmer were the two nicest I met. By far!
Never met Payne Stewart, but agree 100% on Palmer. He was very accommodating to the fans.

I was fortunate to get to see Palmer play a few times when he was in his mid-late 30's, and followed him and Nicklaus the last 36 holes at Baltusrol in 1967 when they finished 1-2. He had no answer for Jack those 2 days. Of course, nobody did.

Another birdie for Tiger, now 8 under, two shots behind the leaders. Like I said in the RF, golf is always better, imo, when Tiger is in contention

He's killing it today. Will definitely make tomorrow worth watching if he can keep it up.

BK is drilling the entire field currently

However golf is better the better TW is playing
No question about that! I'm glad he's back to being in contention (makes my job more fun), but still don't want him to reach 18 majors.

He is really having trouble with the speed of the greens on the back 9. He's -10 on the front and +2 on the back for the week.
I think he'll figure out the back 9 today. He's been steadily improving through the rounds. Let's see if it all comes together.
