The Tiger Woods saga

Was a moving speech to me. Just watched it. JMO.

He just seemed real broken. Not his usual confidence at all. I hope he comes back to the Tour soon.

Yes. Stop with the apology tour for the press. Rehabbing your money making ability is going to take enormous time. Take it, play golf, make putts and tell the busy bodies to kiss your Caublasian Buddhist ass.

I've never seen an episode of Desperate Housewives, but I know that airs on the same network that owns ESPN. Most of the same women ready to crucify Tiger can't get enough of this same behavior in their entertainment.

I've also seen some of the tour groupies, and guarantee that it ain't just the money that some of these tour players are worried about losing.

A convieniently crafted media relations boosting apology is moving to you? Wow. Just wow.

Seriously?

Dont you know how tough that would be??

Too walk up in front of just a room of 30 friends and tell them your sorry. It is not an easy thing to do. Those were his reall friends. Not just us out here in lala land....What did you not like about his "speech"??

I might have to retract a previous statement. He should probably apologize to me for stumping a Perkins waitress. That is the most offensive thing I can find in all of this.

I, for one, lost A LOT of respect for the guy once all of this came out. You just don't do that to your family.
I did too. I love to watch him play golf. Have alot of good memories watching him, in person and on TV.

Contrived, insincere and just plain crap. He doesn't owe anyone in that room an apology. He's salvaging what he can of his martketability, which is inextricably tied to his golf bag, and nothing else.

Is that all you think he cares about??

Nike Golf??

Anybody stop to think that the sponsors really pulled because they have no idea when he will be playing again? They will return as soon as he is getting face time.

The jet was free. Nike checks aint goin nowhere. Yeah the jet was free!

I still cant believe he went to buy a jet, and instead they told him to keep the company logo on it and the gave him a 16 mill jet.

Why else would he apologize to people he hasn't wronged?

The vast majority don't care if he schtups Bea Arthur. Furthermore, nobody, save his family, is impacted by it.

It made me like him more.

Reminded me of a wild night in college.

While reading your post the thought entered my mind... "I am Tiger Woods."

The reason, I feel he apologized, is to get the world of his back. People just want to see him squirm on the tube. You know it had to happen sometime.

You know that the sponsors aint going nowhere, when he comes back and does his thing. He makes money, while out makin money. Ridiculous money.

Bill Simmons killed him over at ESPN. I tend to agree.

quite the line from Simmons

By this point, I was making the same face that an airplane passenger makes in the first few seconds after an unclaimed fart.
