The Tiger Woods saga

would you like a cookie?

and unless you broke the actual story (which you didn't because the National Enquirer did) then nobody cares. i guess maybe congrats for being as big a degenerate as the internet sleaze rags. :dunno:

I am not a reader of that magazine. I was mocked on here for saying that she attacked him. When I said it, it was a hunch based on reading the report.

Also this is not a slight thing where Tiger got a little scratch. This is a Viking woman scorned who got golf clubs in delicious irony and proceeded to scare Tiger so badly that he wrecked the car fleeing from her. The fact that she beat Tiger like this is the story, and the fact that he was in and out of consciousness after the wreck makes her seem even more like some kind of abusive female Thor.

I couldn't care less if Tiger was stepping out on his wife. Tiger is obviously trying to keep this under wraps as much as possible and I can understand this. What he is missing here is that when the press feels there are details in the story being kept hidden they just dig even harder to uncover it, I'm sure his publicist has informed him of this fact.

I have heard he is a very private person and I'm sure this has something to do with him being tight lipped, his endorsements and the possibility of a black mark on his image certainly factor in to. If the accusations of being a womanizer are in fact true and it becomes public a few of those very lucrative endorsements might be lost.

The simple truth is when you are celebrity, especially one with a very carefully crafted and packaged image as his you must be careful. I'm not making a judgment as to right or wrong here, just stating fact. When you are a celebrity and enjoy all the perks and benefits your status brings you must also be prepared to accept all the negative aspects that come with it, the extra attention you receive can be a huge benefit, it can also be a burden when you have troubles like the one he is going through now.

the press is not going to stop digging...

either she knocked him out or he was doped up on prescription drugs..

When does Tiger put himself in those positions where other people are around him, though?

i'm not understanding your question?

i have a buddy who works for the clippers and saw him at the nba all star game. one of his female coworkers got hit on tiger repeatably and aparently texted her for days after the meeting. this was when his wife was pregant. i have another buddy that worked at a high end resort in arizona and tiger was staying there last year. 2 hookers apparently asked for his room.

You keep saying fact, even though, everything you say is complete speculation

I'd find this hard to believe.

FHP is seeking a warrant for the medical records.. it could be a problem...
And there's more ... although alcohol was not involved, Tiger was in and out of consciousness and TMZ has already reported Tiger told a friend he was taking prescription meds for pain, which could be evidence of DUI. This, too, could constitute probable cause to obtain a warrant.

My apologies then. I'll contend that I still doubt Tiger would ever "over use" pain killers for recreation though.

it's really not that hard when you're at home hurting and don't think you'll need to do anything like driving that night (coming from a guy who has taken his fair share). Even easier if you're trying to just get some sleep

I was surprised to read this

Initially it was reported that Tiger just need to provide proof of ownership and insurance for the SUV.

His lawyer did this,

so what's the Highway's patrol looking to get from his medical records, and what can they use the information for...

Its not true, so anything TMZ says has to be classified as false.

Ok, not going to argue with you. Got nothing against you. I'm just going to choose to not believe that Tiger Woods would pay for a hooker

would it make you feel anymore comfortable if the term call girl was used? I will just about assure you that many high profile men you wouldn't normally associate with prostitutes use the services of high end call girls fairly regularly.

It doesn't make me feel one way or another. Tiger's business is his business. I follow his efforts on the golf course. I do not make him out to be a super hero.

However, until someone shows hard evidence that he was with this Rachel chick or a "call girl" I will choose to believe that it is not true.

I don't care whether it's true or not either, doesn't affect me in any way. He created his own image and because of that image was paid very well. If he did something stupid and tarnished that image it's his own business. If the media rush to dig up the story that's their business, he knew it came with the territory and I won't feel the slightest pity for him. I don't follow golf, I have no dog in the hunt and don't care either way.

bingo. you can't on one hand benefit handsomely from being considered an upstanding citizen and then on the other hand say this is a private matter and no ones business.

You also can't accuse someone of something without hard evidence

The special treatment his case has been given by the police and the stalling and secrecy about the situation tend to lean toward a very embarrassing escapade that ended with him driving his vehicle into a tree. I know there is a lot at stake here for Tiger, both in terms of privacy and possibly some of his endorsements. It is beyond likely there is something he is trying to keep from being made public knowledge and his attempts to hide whatever really happened are only the driving the story. When you see smoke it usually means there is a fire somewhere.

I will also add that when someone is taking measures to cover up or keep secret the events that led up to the incident it very often a way to conceal the very evidence you need to make the accusation.
