The Tiger Woods saga

Right or wrong, Tiger is good for golf. When he is playing and winning, people are going to watch.

I was 9 years old win Tiger won his first Master's and fell in love with golf a few years latter when he won the Tiger Slam.

As much as I love Bubba and his pink driver or Rickie and his fashion ensemble, the pull just isn't there like it is when Tiger is around.

Hope this come back sticks because if he has to step away again, not sure how much more he can take.

Can Tiger get into serious contention heading to Sunday?

He tees off around 12:20....can't wait.

If you're not watching a tournament with this field there is no way you're watching a tournament at somewhere like Memphis or Milwaukee that he's not in.
I have watched tournament golf for over 50 years, both in person and on TV. I usually just watch the Majors and The Players now, along with an occasional Memorial or L.A. Open or something like that.

72 has been watching Jack golf since before you were even a blip in your dads loins brah. He's watched more golf than the likes of Miller and Faldo. Combined. Ask him, he'll tell you.

Gotcha....sure he's not a fan on Tiger since he's arguably the best ever.

Just trying to add some perspective, and to show that golf was here before Tiger, and will be here after he's gone.

I'm getting burned out on weekly golf tournaments that are more or less meaningless. I have gotten totally burned out on pro football, and haven't seen a game this year. I still watch college.

you need to work on context and how you write your posts if you actually believe the first part of what you wrote here.

Thanks for proving my point about context.
The only context necessary is that I have watched a lot of golf over the years, and am not interested in watching meaningless tournaments any more. I have also totally quit watching Nascar and pro football. The stuff is boring.
