The Tiger Woods saga

Tiger signs with Bridgestone to play the 330-S. Will become a cornerstone, if not the cornerstone, of Bridgestone's marketing campaign.

If you're a pro golfer, and you're playing on the weekend, you're not a hack. Seriously, think before you post.

In the same way the Bill Murray is known for his golf game.
No. Bill Murray is a clown, but can play well enough not to embarrass himself. Barkley is known for how bad he became with his 2 or 3 piece downswing. Hank Haney had him hitting it fairly well on his Golf Channel show when he teed up several and had him hit balls in rapid succession.

90% of the people that know who Charles Barkley is have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Golfers know him for his golf also. I saw him play at Stokley for Auburn, and I first knew him as the round mound of rebound. Somebody delivered pizzas courtside to him during warmups because he was heavy for a basketball player. I was sitting behind one goal at the tunnel, and it was just maybe 30 feet from me. He and a lot of us got a laugh out of it.

I am a golfer and when I think of Charles Barkley, thinking of him as a golfer is well down the list. Lots of things come to mind, actually, when you meet him and golf isn't one.

I never said that Barkley was PRIMARILY known for his golf, but that he is known for his golf by other golfers, because he is so bad.

Which again is a very small population
I don't know why you are arguing this. I merely answered a question to name a weekend hack who had endorsement deals.

1) Is Charles Barkley a weekend hack?

2) If so, does Charles Barkley also have endorsement deals?

Anyone with a clue knew I meant name a weekend hack with golf endorsement deals, but you continue to lack any ability to grasp context.

Well, Justin Timberlake signed an endorsement deal with Callaway Golf on Oct. 29, 2008 in an effort to attract young people to the game.
