The TOP 5 for Heisman

My five would be McCaffery, Fournette, Henry, Watson and Cook. McCaffery would get my vote, of course I've seen a LOT of him and he's just a stud. Henry would be my second place with Watson third followed by Cook and Fournette.

I think Henry will likely go higher in the NFL draft than any of the others.

Since you've seen him a lot, Is there a reason he doesn't score touchdowns?

To vote for him you'd have to consider kick return yards more valuable than touchdowns

Like, Dobbs has more rushing touchdowns than him. And 2 less receiving Touchdowns... It is just odd for him to have so few.

Remound Wright is Stanford's short yardage and goal line back. He has 13 touchdowns this season, that certainly doesn't help McCaffrey.

That's exactly right. One of the things McCaffery does is he keeps drives going through will and determination. He just does everything to help his team win, that's a Heisman in my book.

Christian McCaffrey
Derrick Henry
Roger Lewis
Paxton Lynch
Baker Mayfield

Sorry no Keenan Reynolds or Deshaun Watson.

Watson deserves to be on the list above Lynch.

I think the best QB this year was Paxton Lynch...followed by Mayfield, Watson and Luke Falk. I don't expect you to agree with me. Just how I see it. IMO Lynch is on another level and has made huge progressions from his soph to his junior year. He doesn't get enough respect.

I agree that Lynch was the best QB

The #1 criteria for the Heisman for the last several years seems to be team wins though. As awkward as that is

I quit paying attention to Heisman awards since 1998. I'd rather hold hands and cry about my gut with Richard Simmons than to listen to Chris Fowler. He led the Woodson surge back then.

He led the surge? Then why did he vote for Manning?

He did? I can hardly believe it. He was calling UT fans trailer trash (paraphrasing) and tooting Woodson's horn at every opportunity. I didn't think the voting was public. Probably because it's been a long time since I paid attention to it. Would be interesting in seeing a link showing how everyone voted if it exists.
