Glad I went to the grocery yesterday for the ingredients for our potluck lunch tomorrow.

It's quite hilarious the reaction you get around here when the word snow is mentioned.

They don't ever close here because if they close that means they have to pay the employees for the day. If they open and employees don't show then they don't have to pay them.

There have been times where it has been iffy, and they give us the choice to stay and work or go home and use vacation time, but usually it is an office closure.

The two times I have been at work and it started snowing they told us we couldn't leave. One time it was pretty rough and I wasn't sure I was going to make it home. I didn't drive the jeep to work that day.

the last time they let us leave was earlier this year when it was freezing rain. Our car windows were frozen over, so our owner let us go. :birgits_giggle: Got on the roads, and they were just fine. Went to the grocery store to pick up a movie and pick up items to make pizza for lunch.

Those were the most pain in the arse to program. When I was programming, I probably looked like I had some sort of problem because in the songs I was mouthing the lyrics to get he faces right
