Turkey feast for lunch today at my son's school. Food was not good but it was fun to be able to eat lunch with my oldest. He was so excited that the wife and I were there to eat with him and after it was over my wife took him home with her since she is off today.

We normally travel a little bit for Christmas but this year we told everyone that we were having Christmas at our house. So this year we won't really be traveling much. Maybe to Maryville, TN on Christmas Eve if I don't have to work.

Since we won't have kids we probably won't ever offer our house for the holidays, so travel it is. Or maybe we should just move further away and come around twice a year lol.

:lolabove: I told my MIL before we had kids it would be zero or two. She said: "Well then it's going to be two because you gotta have kids".

It's really weird how things have turned out for my family. I always thought my sister would have kids, but then as she got older, it just wasn't her. They decided they didn't want any. Didn't see my brother as the father type, but he is such a great dad, weird to see. :birgits_giggle:

I'm so glad though that he is having kids since my sister and I aren't. My mom reaaaaaaaally wants a girl, because she loves to smock and is getting tired of smocking for a little boy, you can only do so much for them. But she is doing the three flower girl dresses, so she gets to do something now.

I always knew I would have kids. It wasn't really ever a question. I was mainly giving her a hard time.

What is smock? Never heard of it before.

Was supposed to go out hunting this weekend. Ice storm has canceled those plans. So I get to watch the game tomorrow.

I always thought I would probably until 2 years ago. I love playing and being with my nephew, but I also love handing him back at the end of the day.

Sorry for the picture of a picture but I don't have any of him on my phone with him in an outfit. The smocking is what is in the white area. She did turtles on this outfit.

It is nice to be able to hand them back when they start getting fussy or need a diaper change.

So is smocking kind of like monogramming (sp)?
