i hate snow now. I got stuck in Memphis airport Friday night because of stupid snow. and it wasn't even that bad. 1-2 inches. and it was melted later that night. didn't even freeze. we ran out of flight fuel while sitting in line to be de-iced by the one guy that the whole airport had!!!!!

silver lining is i wasn't in Philly, NY or some of the other places that really got hammered.

But just more evidence that we in the South are not prepared for any inclament weather.

Yeah, Memphis and snow don't go together. Almost as bad as Knoxville. I remember the blizzard in 93 and the ice storm in 94 that shut the whole city down.

yep, i lived in Memphis in 93, and was in Knoxville in 94....i remember.

it is just as bad here in Charlotte....it's snows one day, and people go get enough bread and mile to last 2 months....

oh well, i'm home now, but my weekend got screwed....i'll have to make up for it next weekend.

I really laugh at all the people who load up w/ food. Like they're going to run out in 2 days before it all melts.

i know it's ridiculous....10 degrees today, 55 tomorrow....but you'd never know it....
